FileConvertly ("we", "us", or "our") operates fileconvertly.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our file conversion services.
Your uploaded files are processed solely for the purpose of performing the requested conversion. We do not read, analyze, index, copy, sell, or share your file contents with any third party. Uploaded files are deleted from our servers immediately after the conversion is complete. Output files are automatically deleted within 10 minutes.
We collect minimal technical data to operate the service: server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, request timestamps, and file sizes) used for security monitoring and abuse prevention. We do not use tracking cookies.
We use the limited information we collect only to: deliver the file conversion service, enforce rate limits to prevent abuse, monitor for security threats, and improve service performance. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising profiling.
We may use Google AdSense (if enabled, Google may serve personalized ads using cookies) and Google Analytics (anonymized traffic statistics). You can opt out of Google ads via Google's Ad Settings.
All file transfers are encrypted via HTTPS. Uploaded files are stored using randomly generated UUIDs that cannot be guessed or enumerated. File paths are never exposed to end users.
FileConvertly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are in the EU or California, you have the right to access, delete, or port any personal data we hold. Since we collect only server logs, you may contact us to request log deletion.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
